I have a tippmann x7, which barrel is better for it, a 16" J&J ceramic barrel, or a 16" tippmann werks barrel?

I'd go with the J&J Ceramic. The Tippmann barrel may not be any better than your stock barrel, it'll just be longer.

And what the heck is Rob talking about getting a 2-piece to prevent the ball bouncing around? That's never an issue unless either the back bore of a two-piece or the insert bore of a barrel kit were mis-aligned, meaning the problem wouldn't occur at all with a one-piece.
