Which is a better paintball gun to buy?
I am starting up a new woodsball team and im not sure if i should get the tippmann alpha black tactical with e grip or basic project salvo. the alpha black would have fully auto, but it would be a pain with the batteries, and the project salvo is cheaper and seems pretty accurate. please, any one that plays woodsball, can you help?
An electro isn't made of glass. Just because it's electronic doesn't mean it's more fragile. The only downside is it uses a battery & its rate of fire requires the owner to also use an electronic hopper, which also uses batteries. Aside from that, dropping it won't damage it any more than dropping a mech gun.
Both the Alpha Black & Project Salvo are equally accurate out of the box, although better accuracy would be achieved with a new/better barrel for either & using quality paint.
But it sounds like you've already made a choice when you mentioned batteries would be a pain AND the Salvo is cheaper. So get the Salvo.
