Stryker EMX 1000 paintball gun review
can i upgrade this paintball gun?
i have a Viewloader Stryker EMX 1000 Electronic Paintball Gun Black Red and it sucks with accuracy and it needs more power. what upgrade should i do
Power should not be increased, unlike with airsoft anything over 300fps is very dangerous. Even 300fps is pushing it, anything over that could crack goggle lenses and/or seriously injure someone. As for the accuracy, that has to do with the paint size to barrel bore size, regulator consistency (though i am not sure if your gun has a regulator), paint quality (i.e. no dimples, consistent size, etc.), and air source (i.e. co2 or hpa)
First of, if you want to increase accuracy, upgrade to a HPA (compressed air, nitrogen, its all the same) tank (if you haven't already).
Next, get a barrel with a bore size slightly smaller than the paint you normally use (to find your paint's size you can find someone with a barrel kit and test it with theirs, or use a paint sizer) because under-boring has been shown to significantly improve accuracy.
Thirdly, if possible upgrade your regulator (like to a CP or Bob Long)
After all of this your accuracy should have improved drastically.
Though again remember, do not make your gun go over 300 feet per second, as it becomes dangerous and even lethal.
Good luck, and have fun playing paintball.
