electrolytes replacement?
I am going to Oklahoma D-Day in about a month: a paintball game that will re-create the invasion of Normandy with 4000+ players. It is ALOT OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN REALLY HOT AND HUMID WEATHER!!! i am 82nd airborne who will be dropped behind enemy lines at like 7:00 in the morning and
the game is over at 5:00. i might be going a while without a break.
i have a camelbak hydration system, and the people who run D-Day say i need to be drinking a liter an hour. what i need to know is: Is there a good electrolyte replacement powder or tablets that i can put in my camelbak water so i can keep up my energy? i really need info on how to keep up my energy period, and i already know to get in shape. i mean like what to eat for breakfast, what snacks should i bring with me to eat during the day? anything you can give me will be good unless it is bad advice, then that is not cool.
The best electrolyte replacement is Alacer's Sport Drink Electro Mix. It's in a green box. You could also add some Emergen-C it has electrolytes, b vitamins and C.
If you are going to keep your snacks ultra light and portable- use Desiccated liver tablets and some fish oil tablets and some v-8 if you can.
The emergenC will help keep your blood sugar up, the liver tablets are high in protein and B vitamins. I use this stuff when I have to travel. I also use egg protein powder or ionic whey isolate protein powder.
For breakfast have several eggs a bowl of oatmeal(it helps release testosterone) and a bunch of veggies and throw in an avacado. This should burn for a few hours.
