PMI Piranhas are pretty nice markers — similar to Spyders. The electronics — the A.P.E. Rampage board is great.

For the price, you are getting some really great features to start with. If anything, the only upgrade I would recommend is a new barrel. Piranhas are Spyder threaded. J&J Performance Ceramic, Proto 1-piece, or Custom Products Classic 1-piece are some great choices. Stick to 12″ or 14″ barrel lengths.

Do yourself a favor and save some money by shopping around. You can definitely find a better price and package deal than this one offered by Amazon/Zephyr Sports (a.k.a. Zephyr Paintball.) Amazon is a great tool for shopping, but sometimes you miss out on the current incentives/offers that you would get if you bought directly from the online paintball retailer (ie. free shipping.)
