Buying a new paintball marker?
Hey everyone, so ive decided to scrap my gun (2004 Angel Speed) for a new one, my problem is deciding which one I like.
I have held both the MacDev Cyborg (07), the Eclipse Ego (07) and the 2k6 Timmy (I think it was Infamous). I have yet to hold the Angel A1 ( not too intrested in it though)
I really like the weight and feel of all 3, esp. the MacDev Cyborg. Does anyone know the best choice of the 3? I play Mid in airball.
My setup is a Vloader VLocity and a HP 4500 tank. Thanks.
In my opinion, definitely the Ego. The Angel A1 is an alright marker but for it’s price, there is much better. The 2k6 Timmy is a very very good marker and it’s hard to say between the two. Although, I personally love the Ego way more. It’s smoother, shoots nicer, and just feels really good to me.
Between the two though, it’s really up to you. The Ego is heavily hyped, so most people will tell you “OMG GET THE EGO DUH” but in the end, high end markers will be high end markers. The thing I love about the Ego is the milling and the feel of the marker. It shoots nice, as you probably know, but then so does the Timmy.
If you ask me, I’d get the Ego unless you really like how the Timmy feels. The Cyborgs are okay markers in my opinion, they’re not that great to begin with. So I would say it’s a race between the Ego and the Timmy and it’s you call on which one to get. I hope this helps you make a good decision. The bottom line is, the Ego won’t let you down.
