Would i be considered an idiot if i made this paintball trade?
Well i have a Planet Eclipse Etek3 AM with cure3=, zick2, 2 triggers, 2 feednecks, all the original parts and a pinokio hopper i am trying to trade for an electric TIPPMANN X7 PHENOM w/HE grip. My marker is great, i just want that customizability and scenario feel (I play scenario, woods, and hyperball). i have an A5 and like the cyclone i just want the selectfire fire-power in a military looking package. and i know the tippmann will be extremely durable, and i wont have to worry about batteries dying, but my etek retails for $600 (not counting the upgrades and pinokio hopper) and i believe the electro phenom retails for $400) so i would require the trader to include some cash or upgrades. So would i be screwing myself over? thanks for the help. money type decisions these day need to be taken with extreme thought and caution

Keep the Eclipse. It looks like you have a good setup there.
If you already have an A5, then just upgrade the A5. Get the E-trigger and you'll have something not-quite-as-good-as the Phenom. But it would suit your purpose and be a lot cheaper. Otherwise you can sell your A5 and try to buy a Phenom.
I would not trade the Etek for the the Phenom though.
Shoot, I'd spray-paint the Etek Black to play scenario before I bought another Tippmann...
EDIT: FYI, The Phenom is definitely not the same gun as the 98 Custom. It's different in a lot of ways, most of them good. It's nothing near an Etek, but noticeably better than the 98 Custom.
